Programs Tailored to Every Stage

Montessori of Woodridge supports developmentally appropriate learning through every early childhood stage:

Infant & Toddler (6 Weeks to 2 Years)

Our infant and toddler classrooms are peaceful, sensory-rich spaces where young children explore movement, music, and early language in a safe, loving environment. Daily routines promote security, consistency, and communication.

Twos Program

Children at this stage develop rapidly. Our two-year-old program introduces more structure, social skills, and fine motor work through practical life activities and early language games. Children begin to help with snack, clean up, and group time.

Primary & Extended Program (Ages 3–6)

Our multi-age 3–6 program offers materials for reading, math, geography, and science — all introduced when the child is ready. Children learn to work independently, collaborate respectfully, and build self-confidence through self-directed learning.

A Montessori Approach that Grows with Your Child

Montessori of Woodridge follows the philosophy developed by Dr. Maria Montessori: children are intrinsically motivated to learn when they are given freedom within a structured and supportive environment.

In our classrooms, you’ll find:

  • Purposeful materials designed for hands-on learning
  • Calm, ordered spaces where children move and choose freely
  • Teachers who observe, guide, and support rather than lecture
  • An emphasis on concentration, order, coordination, and independence
  • A culture of mutual respect between peers and adults

We prepare children not just for kindergarten — but for life.
